The mobile ticketing innovations rolled out through the new partnership have the potential to impact millions of fans of rugby union, rugby league, cricket, Australian rules football and basketball.
“Ticketek partnered with YinzCam because they are the world leader in creating applications designed especially for sports fans,” said Geoff Jones, CEO of Ticketek’s parent company, TEG. “YinzCam’s mobile sports apps have been downloaded over 45 million times and its platform has sent over 10 billion push-notifications to fans. That says everything about YinzCam’s insights, user experience and technology.
“We are delighted to create a seamless and enhanced experience for fans using their mobile apps and making the live event experience so much better.”
The new native SDK integration will also include 3D interactive seat maps, real-time attendance tracking, ticket purchase through TouchID and ticketing-driven personalization.
“We are excited to partner with Ticketek to provide their ticketing features in a native, mobile integration with single sign-on and data capabilities to be embedded into league and club apps in the Australasia market,” said Priya Narasimhan, CEO and Founder of YinzCam. “We are also thrilled with the opportunity to work with the Ticketek team on an innovation roadmap to bring even more ticketing and venue features and analytics to life for our common clients.”
