Grand Transformers (GTI) Awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certification

GRAND HAVEN, Mich., May 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Grand Transformers (GTI), a leading designer and manufacturer of custom engineered magnetics, is proud to announce that they have been ISO 9001:2015 Management System certified for the design and manufacturing of magnetics components—such as transformers and inductors.

GTI underwent an extensive evaluation process—led by American Systems Registrar, LLC in Wyoming, MI. The evaluation process included the development of a quality management system, a management system documentation review, as well as pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances. The certification process works to identify and implement corrective actions to eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard.

Becoming ISO 9001:2015 certified is an important milestone for Grand Transformers. This certification is clear demonstration of GTI’s commitment to providing superior-quality products and services. Additionally, the certification further evidences GTI’s ability to meet the specific needs and requirements of its customers.

“The ISO certification is important for GTI,” said Steve Parker, GTI CEO. “By following the best practices required by ISO 9001:2015, we prove to our customers that we have employed the proper processes to improve quality, competitiveness, and solidify our market leadership.”
