Fishtech will begin offering SECaaS specifically designed to secure assets outside the network firewall. Among the initial services are Microsoft Office 365, AWS, Azure, and Endpoint Security as a Service. Additionally, Fishtech will offer proactive Threat Monitoring, Threat Hunting, and Incident Response as a service built specifically for cloud environments. All services will be available through a consumption-based (pay-as-you-go) pricing model.
“Traditional managed security service providers are focused on systems inside the firewall,” says CEO Fish. “We believe a distinct and definitive network border no longer exists and that data outside the firewall should be secured and managed accordingly.
“This past year, we’ve been building partnerships to create a portfolio of technology and services that support our vision and complement our data-driven, cloud-forward security approach.
“These technologies are the glue that bring our SECaaS offerings together. By investing in and utilizing advanced data analytics, we are building a transformative platform to provide enhanced visibility to monitor and predict events before they happen.”
“Security Operations Centers and the way security managed services are offered has not changed with the times,” says Dan Thormodsgaard, CTO of Fishtech Group. “The core of our approach is to secure assets outside the network through automation, orchestration, and data analytics. Because Fishtech was born in the cloud and built from the ground up to secure the cloud, we are uniquely positioned to disrupt the way traditional security services are delivered today.”
Fishtech plans to offer these services later this year through its existing facilities and expects the new dedicated CSOC to be open and operational by mid-2018.
