An e-commerce veteran with a unique understanding of retail technology, Demko has extensive experience leading successful marketing and operations teams at companies such as FreshDirect and Priceline. As CEO of Door to Door Organics, Demko will direct the company to its next level of sustainable growth as it delivers an unparalleled online grocery experience to consumers in 17 states and Washington, D.C.
Demko will replace interim CEO Stefan Pepe who was recently named chairman of the board for Door to Door Organics. Prior to joining Door to Door Organics, Demko was COO of GPShopper, the leading developer of mobile solutions for retailers. While at GPShopper, Demko was instrumental in scaling the business and guiding the development of mobile engagement and commerce technologies for retailers that culminated in the acquisition of the business by Synchrony Financial. Demko also served as vice president of operations for online grocer FreshDirect and vice president of marketing for Priceline.
