CAPAY, Calif., June 22, 2017 — Farm Fresh To You (www.farmfreshtoyou.com), a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and home delivery service that provides fresh, local, organic produce and artisanal farm products to consumers’ doorsteps and its farm, Capay Organic, invites the public to its 10th Annual Capay Tomato Festival on Saturday, July 22, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The farm’s address is 23808 State Hwy 16, Capay, Calif. 95607.

Capay Tomato offers a full slate of activities for all ages, including heirloom and cherry tomato tastings, farm tours, live music throughout the afternoon and evening, and camping in the farm orchards.

Event proceeds benefit the Kathleen Barsotti Non-Profit for Sustainable Agriculture (KBNP). The KBNP seeks to support sustainable agriculture and farm workers by giving an annual scholarship to a high school senior planning to pursue a field related to sustainable agriculture and by donating backpacks with school supplies to farmworker families in the Capay Valley. Last year, it distributed over 900 backpacks.

“We invite the public to see how and where their food is grown by visiting our farm,” said Thaddeus Barsotti, farmer and co-owner of Farm Fresh To You. “We are proud that our parents played a role in reintroducing the heirloom tomato to the marketplace and that our festival has been going 10 years strong.”
